IUTH provides educational services for higher and postgraduate education.
IUTH was created in 2000 as a non-profit non-governmental organization in the form of institution "Kazakh University of Transportation Communications" on the basis of the Charter, certificate of state registration of legal entity registration № 33600-1910-Y-e series B № 0332485 dated June 15, 2000, statistical card dated June 15, 2000, trains specialists for the transport and communication complex, construction and other sectors of economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The transport sector, being a multi-farm, includes hundreds of different companies is challenged with need for specialists in various fields. These are the organizers of the movement, car-building workers, engine drivers, railway engineers, signalers, motorists and experts in the area of information systems and communications, energy experts, financiers, accountants, and many others.
