• "Organization of traffic, transport management and logistics" (hereinafter referred to as ODUTiL) is a graduation and prepares specialists with higher professional education.

  
  

  Goals and mission of the department: Organization of high-quality training of competitive personnel in the specialty "Organization of transportation, traffic and operation of transport", "Logistics" capable of becoming leaders in the field of transport and logistics activities.

  The department trains specialists in the organization of transportation on railway transport, organization of transportation and commercial activities, logistics and traffic organization for the transport and communications complex, possessing knowledge in the field of cargo and commercial work management, complex mechanization and automation of loading and unloading operations, the basics of logistics, international transportation, traffic organization, and operational work management.

  
  

  The department employs a highly qualified faculty of 49 people; of which 3 are doctors of technical sciences, 20 are candidates of technical sciences, and 2 are PhDs. Foreign teachers are invited to give lectures from production facilities every year.

  
  

  The department is working on implementing advanced experience in introducing modern methods in the educational process.

  
  

  The teachers of the "ODUTiL" department take refresher courses every year.

  
  

Every year, the department's teachers publish articles in international and domestic scientific journals and participate in international conferences.

The department "ODUTiL" is implementing an initiative scientific project in the information system "NCGNTE" on the topic "Development of alternative routes for transporting containers through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (Reg.: JSC "NCGNTE No. 012RKI0132) (the amount of initiative funding is 3,000,000 tenge) - the scientific director of the project is Cand. Sci. (Eng.), Associate Professor of the Department Amanova Marzhan Valiyevna.

The department attaches great importance to the practical training of students, carries out active work on organizing and conducting professional practices, on the selection of practice bases, its methodological support, management and control. The quality of the objects of the practice bases meet the requirements, contracts have been concluded with large enterprises of the region of various forms of ownership.

And also in order to strengthen the practical focus of the educational process, students undergo practical classes in production.

The Department of ODUTiL has contracts with enterprises for undergoing practices and cooperation with employers in the preparation and development of EP and employment of graduates: Branch of JSC "KTZ Express" - "KTZE Yuzhny", "JSC KTZ-GP" Almaty branch of freight transportation, LLP "EastW Trans -BBL Kazakhstan", LLP "Batu Agro", LLP "Ziyal"
